Want to be a part of Jerusalem’s Shakespeare in the Park? Audition to be an actor onstage, or become a behind-the-scenes team member in this summer’s production of The Tempest. It’s Theater in the Rough’s 15th 😲 year of free, outdoor Shakespeare!

Enter an island of strange magic and even stranger bedfellows, where a ship mysteriously washes ashore after a storm. In only three hours, all will be revealed and resolved…sort of.

AUGUST 2026 PRODUCTION: Directed and produced by Beth Steinberg and Ira Skop

Please Note: Actors must have excellent English with near-native skill. Experience with Shakespeare not necessary.
