Paul Stebbings has taught workshops around the world. Paul trained with celebrated Polish director, Jerzy Grotowski and studied at Bristol University. * Engage through rhythm, pace and teamwork
* Explore the stylisation of dialogue and creation of character through stylised improvisation, listening and responding
* Discover theatre that moves beyond television-inspired-realism.
* Challenge your perceptions of what is the essence of theatre.
* Work together as a group to create ensemble theatre and learn techniques

We encourage the group to work together and see that technique is something that can be learned, and, in our opinion, is more important than the lazy word “talent”.

Theatre is a social art that arose out of play. It should not be about parading ego but about working together to tell a story.

Theatre is not imitation it is imagination. This was the root of British theatre and we can learn from Shakespeare that the imagination is more powerful than any set or special effect.
